New developments in Liverpool 2016
By the end of 2016, the face of Liverpool’s skyline could look very different due to the number of developments set to be completed. From high-rise apartments, to restaurants there’s certainly something new for everyone.
Herculaneum Quay, is a residential tower on the waterfront set to be kitted out with 14 floors and 101 apartments. The tower, scheduled to be completed in December this year, has been designed y KDP architects and is to include an outdoor spa pol and a coffee shop.
A massive alteration in the appearance of Anfield is the redevelopment to the main stand at Liverpool Football Club’s stadium. Expected completion for the ‘towering new main stand’ is summer 2016 and is set to increase seating to 54,000. The newly improved main stand will include a concourse outside the grounds.
The Shankly Hotel on Victoria Street is also scheduled to be completed this year. Despite the first stage of the development being finished there are still a number of floors to complete. This will include additional rooms and the completion of ‘Eden’ which will become a rooftop bar and wedding venue. ‘Eden’ will also be equipped with an infinity pool, for guests to enjoy the skyline as they swim.
Liverpool One is also set to see some development this year with the opening of Club House. The Club House will be a bar and restaurant and will adopt the interior of a Hamptons style manor house. Located in Chavasse Park in Liverpool One, the future hot spot will have a first floor terrace and a private dining room.
